I throw hawks and axes and have been for years ,some folks will say what do you need to learn that for ,well it does come in handy ,maybe you're stranded in the woods and are hungry well if you know how to throw an axe then you can use it to hunt or use it to make a spear ,or a bow and arrows ,make shelter , I say the same thing about knife throwing

Been working at an Axe throwing place and throwing in league since March! My whole family enjoys doing it! Kids that throw are 11,9,7,&5. It’s been an amazing experience. I’ve met so many great people and the axe throwing community is awesome!

I have been wanting to try this for a couple years now. I finally started yesterday. So here I am today on KZbin, learning as much as I can about how it's done. A HUGE thank you to who ever the girl is in this video!!!!!! Most I have seen so far are done by men. women and men have different strengths and weaknesses so it was very refreshing and encouraging to see a woman trying this out! I was treated to axe throwing at Blade & Timber in Leawood, Kansas from my son for my Father's Day gift and had a ball. I was anxious about doing it and the staff and my son were very helpful and patient with me. Took about 10-15 throws before I got it and I was hooked! Played 2 different games together and he won one match and I won the second game. And with the last five minutes of time left, we did some freestyling and had fun. Will definitely be doing it again and again! Everyone should try it at least once in life!

This was cool. Love axes, love splitting wood but never thought to give this a go before. Good on that reporter for having a go and persevering until she hit that bullseye! If I was teaching you I would definitely encourage two hands and to most definitely keep the wood wet but that guy is a pro so he knows how to make the wood wet with 1 and two hands

Also I'm probably not dedicated enough, axe throwing looks fun and all but I don't think it would be something I'd be super passionate about (as opposed to other stuff I like to do)
