I have never worn a bow tie nor do I see one in the near future but one never knows. Just watched out of curiosity . Glad I did because I would hav e never guessed that you end up with a tail in front on one side and a tail in the back on the other. I would have went insane trying to get both tails in the back.

I don't think they are. Most of us just learned earlier and wore them much more frequently. I can tie a neck tie in my sleep. A bow tie, I've always worn clip-ons. But, as this video shows, if you can tie your shoes, you can tie a bow tie.
