Definitely worth the money. I use the Finesse Heavy cover and Heavy cover. Both are extremely similar...and strong.

This is the way I tie a shell with braid. When I tie with flouro I use a method that keeps the mainline inside of the wraps instead of outside that way it stays protected. Also another tip I use when using a shell around wood is to put a peg in front and behind the weight to keep from throwing that hook point around everything it contacts.

I know a couple of years ago Gamakatsu began welding the metal bait keeper to the hook shank. But did they entirely change the bait keeper on the Super Hvy Cover hook? That shot at 2:03 is not the original bait keeper.

This is not a proper snell knot. If it were done correctly there shouldn’t be line crossing over top of the wraps.
