Thank you so much for the amazing comment and compliments. I bet the pastel tie dye socks are awesome! I also watch Mr Tie Dye and have learned from him myself. He’s definitely awesome at Tie Dye! As far as the socks go, any socks that you can get that are 100% Cotton will definitely work and I do actually have a shoe video coming up very soon. Thanks again and if you have any more questions please don’t hesitate to ask😊💜

Hi, super videos! Curious to know if you wash the socks first, and then soak them in soda ash for a certain amount of time before folding them damp?
@RiahsTieDye2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes I wash them and soak in soda ash for 20 minutes before tying ☺️

I love all your beautiful items that you make.. What kind of material do you use for tapestries? I would love to make a peace sign shirt or tapestry but it looks hard and I don't want to mess it up..
@RiahsTieDye3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I use 100% cotton for pretty much all my projects. You can use any all natural fabrics but I’m so used to cotton that that’s what I stick with. As far as the peace sign I actually have a shirt Tutorial and a tapestry Tutorial that are complete Step by Step. You can find those videos here... kzbin.info/www/bejne/l2moiZ5_orOLgNE kzbin.info/www/bejne/oWrCe5d3n9-qm7c I hope this helps and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask 😊💜☮️🧡

Oops!! I just checked out where you buy all your items soooo I found the tapestries. Dharma is a great site.. I have been looking for white dresses and skirts.

I love how these turned out. Would you suggest thinner socks would show more detail (in your talented opinion...)? I mean, I love cushy socks too.
@RiahsTieDye3 жыл бұрын
I agree with that! These socks were thick for sure! ☺️💚

I'm having trouble with the final product having a hole in them any suggestions?
@RiahsTieDye4 жыл бұрын
Hi and thank you for your question. I'm not sure as to why you would be getting a hole in them after dyeing. What kind of dye are you using?

Do you think I could scrunch orange and navy if I thickened the dye. Someone wants me to make them their University colors and prefer the scrunched look. I’m worried the navy will just take over everything or I’ll have mud. Would you risk it? Thanks and I love your videos btw.
@RiahsTieDye4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I personally wouldn’t risk it. If the blue and orange mix it will turn brown. You could do something cool like scrunching the shirt and only dyeing half orange and half blue and leaving a very small space between the two. Even if you thicken the dye it could still mix and create brown. However you could just try it! There is no problem with experimenting to find out what works. I really hope this helps!
