Sorry to comment on an old video, but this was one of the best demos of tying this type of hair. So firstly, thank you! Secondly, I’ve watched a few of these now, but nobody covers how to attach the bait to the micro swivel. How is that done? Another small hair with a bait stop? Cheers.

I always worry with mono hook links that the hook won’t turn , should I be
@BivvyLife Жыл бұрын
Hi pal. That's a difficult one for anybody to answer, I guess it comes down to trial and error over a prolonged period. I prefer to use soft braid for this very reason but it's not always feasible where I fish. Tight lines Steve

How do attach the bait to the micro swivel
@texashombre8 жыл бұрын
i used to do it this way but found it easier go ahead and bait stop the boile first then tie a couple of granny knots on the swivel
@Kingcarparpeggio3 жыл бұрын
Pass some bait floss through the eye of the swivel, then pull both ends of floss through a boilie with a baiting needle, trim down to 1cm and burn and blob with a lighter, quickest easiest way and the boilie won’t come off on the cast so ignore those that say it will because they obviously have never tried the method.

What lb mono was you using ?
@lyzostxrm84458 жыл бұрын
Thanks do you think I could get away with using 15lb braid ?
@texashombre8 жыл бұрын
i use this rig with mono , braid is too supple to keep the bait from sliding up and down freely in my opinion . i use this rig with regular 12lb mono and never had an issue with break offs . but max size i catch would be in the low twenties . good hook ups on the bottom lip with this rig
@texashombre8 жыл бұрын
oh i forgot to say , i use plastic corn with this rig
