Very good I'd bet money that fly catches large trout 3lb. to maybe 10 lb+. Anyways your getting close to what I tye.

Ok cheers for getting back to me I've had a look on eBay and find two different shades of all the olive fritzs that I like I've ordered them. This is a great fly i've made a few with the flybox Fritz and caught lots of fish. I've also made it with a olive tail and that one works really well as well cheers for sharing it nice one thanks mate. Great videos I watch them all

Jock was a Glasgow Rangers fan and Ally Mc coist was the striker best fly ever.

Yes I remember when Ally McCoist played for Sunderland (my home team) didn't work out for him here and he went on to great things at Rangers, must have been the English air 😂, hands down it's still my most productive lure, I only tie it with the Ally fritz from Flybow now

Ally McCoist pattern calls for a black tail, if it has a different colour its not an Ally McCoist, but change it up a bit if you like and see if it works, try varieties of olive for change

Yes mate I used 15mm for this tie, although now I use a uv olive 18mm that I dye myself, it gives the fly more movement, also try a red bead for another variation
