It took me probably six minutes to get it (360 seconds) and at first I'll probably be three times as slow tieing my laces this way. If you need help: so first make the easy simple knot, the base. Then you want to go under the shoe laces with your pinkies ( one on each side) and you want to make a circle with your index finger and thumb, then on the left side, go under the shoelace, on the right go over. "Over, under" works better for me as "forward under and backward under", or forward and backward. Then, continuing with the same words, I can use the hand that went forward to grab the front string (vertical portion of the three-sided loop in the backward hand, towards toe) and the one that went backward to grab the back string (heel-side vertical portion of OTHER loop).

For all you people that can't do it... make sure that your shoe laces have a knot already, then take your shoelaces and grab them with your back hand facing up, then make a claw with your "index finger and thumb" on both hands, claw down and under the lace with the left hand, and claw up and over with the right hand. Finally meet up your two index fingers and thumbs to form a cross with the laces ( making sure that your right hand thumb is under your left hand thumb, and that your right hand index finger is on top of your left hand index finger ) and pull. All done :)
