How To: Tighten Your Hey Dude Laces

Our easy to follow video demonstrates how you can tighten your laces in seconds. No more weaving your laces in fancy patterns or tying bows! For both Men's & Women's Easy On Lace Fit shoes, you simply need to tighten the knots on both sides of the shoe.
Untie the knots on either side of the shoe, pull the lace to the desired tension and tie a knot to prevent the lace to loosen.

Seriously, we thought you were going to tell us how to shorten the laces. No one wants long excess laces sticking out. If you aren't going to sell half sizes, at least include a shorter pair of shoe strings for those who need to make their shoes more of a snug fit because they had to buy a larger size shoe.

Better than how I was tighting mine. I was simple tieing a stander knot and a smaller stopper knot. Turns out that's the worst thing to do. My laces would sink into the top of my feet then they would be on fire the longer I wore them. 😅 I'm glad I looked up this video

If you can come up with such a comfortable shoe seems to me you could come up with a gadget to keep them tight especially for the youngest walkers.

If you cut past the plastic aglet, you will find that the laces will fray. Please be aware any cutting of the laces could invalidate your product warrantee.

Cut it, then use a lighter to melt the ends of the laces a little bit, so they won't fray. I've done it with 2 different pairs of wally stretch.

You can trim the laces if required. If you cut past the plastic ends the laces will fray, please be aware that this may void your warranty with the store that you purchased the shoes from.

I tried on 10's and they were a little tight so I got the 11's and they are a little big. I tightened the laces but now have long pieces sticking out on each side

Yeah, I wear a 7.5 and I had to get an 8 and they were just a little bit too loose so this actually helped

I wear 7.5 but got the 7. They were a little snug but with normal wear they do stretch out a bit. They feel perfect now.

@matthewreid618 the send out false advertisements. When I finally got ahold of someone, alls they wanted to do was for me to return the shoes. Their advertisment didn't say what was or was included in a email Sale.
