How to Tile a Shower | The Home Depot

With my tub surround demolition, they used regular drywall + liquid nails on the tiles and NO cement board , so instead of hammering everything, I plan on using a utility knife and wallboard knife and cutting out 4 sections of wallboard + tile, each about 32" wide, then removing each in one piece. Easy peasey, right? BUT will each section be too heavy too move - any thoughts?
