T18 is a gift from god when used on the right level/shade! Don’t let certain hairdressers scare you away from using it, it works wonders on extremely light hair to make it the perfect icy blonde! Key thing is that you HAVE to have very very little brass in it and it has to be a level 11 at least for it to not become muddy

I have always mixed the two toners because for me t18 gave my hair too much purple tone. I had some t14 laying around so I thought hey I'll just mix it with my normal t18 and see what it does........I'm obsessed! I have been mixing the two for years now and I won't go back to just t18 on its own. Hi! I saw you posted this & didn’t get a response, I hope this helps you ❤️ Buy a tub of bleach (I use Wella Color Charm) & a big bottle of developer (I would use a 20 volume bc if you use the Wella Toner that’s the volume you need for that so it’s a 2 for 1 😉) get a vial of ION’s version of salon Olaplaex (you’ll add that in with the bleach & developer) use 1 parts bleach to 2 parts developer. You can mix more as needed for your hair length. My hair is past my shoulders to the middle of my back, I just do my roots bc my ends are platinum, I use 2 parts bleach, 4 parts developer & a full vial of ION, mix well, you want a consistency that isn’t runny & kinda resembles whipped topping. Don’t be afraid to let it sit on your hair bc it needs time to lift. 45 minutes to an hour. Section your dry hair into 4 quadrants, (unless you’re just doing your roots) LEAVE YOUR ROOTS FOR THE END!!! THE HEAT FROM YOUR SCALP WILL LIGHT THOSE BABIES UP SO DO THEM LAST!!! Saturate your hair don’t be afraid to really cover your hair, start at the back of your head & do small small sections & work forward. Cover your hair (I would recommend against putting it up in a bun) just kinda lay the hair down. Shampoo the bleach out twice & towel dry. Mix your toner & developer (1 bottle of toner, then fill up the toner bottle 2 times with the developer for the perfect ratio) mix well, apply to damp hair really getting all the yellow spots & let sit for 25-30 minutes. DONT LET THE COLOR CHANGE FROM THE TONER FREAK YOU OUT BC ITS DRASTIC BUT IT WILL WASH OUT!! Rinse w cool water then I usually put a hair mask on & let it sit for about 45 minutes to an hour. Wash it out w cool water & boom your hair is done & ready 🥰🥰 Touch up your tone by using purple shampoo or conditioner & you are good to go 👍 hope this helps 💫🌟🌟💫

I don’t bleach my hair. I use a 40 volume developer and lift my hair in several sessions to avoid damage. The color turns out better because bleach makes your hair yellow. When your toner fades, it gets yellow again.

if your roots are brassy u must rebleach it then use toner. Toner doesn't lift. It only deposits a tone color.

When I bleach my hair I use the wella lightening with the entire 20 developer mini bottle then I use the T18 toner mix with 2 oz of the 40 developer. So the 1st time I did the process is came out perfect then the last two time not as much because my roots were still a little yellow. Today I decided to use half the T18 tone only because my hair is really short, still same root result but finally I used the other half of the T18 toner with 40 developer and it was better but not great. Do you think I should only use the 20 developer instead?

I would recommend lifting your ends to match your roots or you’ll end up with hot roots 🥵 or your hair will just be an uneven colour xx

T18 is 42ml So 107ml developer is too much for a 1:2 ratio? Not the perfect amount. I come here because I didnt know if my 1 bottle is going to be enough for my hair... So does that mean, instead of using 84ml developer..I can use the full 107 even though thata more developer than stated?

Oh Wella... I will never know why you guys continue to advertise, market, and package your toners with a 20 VOLUME DEVELOPER!!!!🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ Just a pro tip. Next time, use a 10 developer. Even a 6 or 7 would be better than 20, on your hair. The higher the volume, the bigger the lift of color right? Well, you're already blonde... you're just trying to go a different shade of blonde! You're not even jumping one number on the hair color scale, so therefore, you need a minimal developer. GIirl, that 20 is doing so more damage to your hair than needs to be done. I hope in the future you try using at least 10 volume, and see what a difference it makes on the integrity of your hair!!!😉

It’s normal with any process. Your hair naturally sheds as well. Only to worry if it’s falling out in large clumps.
