How to tone Synthetic 613 crochet hair | No more yellow blonde!

How could I take ginger to brown? I have locs half synthetic and half real hair at the roots, they are woven into one. I have had these locs for about a year and there is no separation anymore 😅

Tbh if the locs are in your hair I wouldnt do synthetic dye … try a traditional one? Like a rinse from the brand adore .. not sure how that would mix though. So youd have to try at your own discretion!

@@SosaSal_ great question lol i dont have an answer though.. because its synthetic hair 613 would be the easiest to change with this method due to it having the least amount of color deposited but with a 27 now im not sure if it would work the same love

The hair I'm using is synthetic so it might not take. But you could give that a try and see.

To be honest I'm not sure if that's the exact synthetic type but you could always try take a small chunk of your blonde braid hair and use the same method with toning

@@jadebaeey4626 hey sorry I got really sick with a bad chest cold. I tested a bit of kanekalon hair. I put some rubbing alcohol in a bowl with some purple rit dye for about 20-25 minutes and it seemed to tone it, when looking at it side by side with another pack of the same hair. Am going to do a test strand on blonde hair to see if it will turn purple by mixing a bit of rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle with more rit dye and letting it dry on the hair, then running through water, to see if it dyes it purple. ( trying to make box braid extensions with royal purple at the roots and blonde tips) If it doesn't stay purple after drying. Will try the hot water (not boiling) with rit dye method. Checking the hair atb5 minutes and up until it's as dark as I want
