Thanks for the teaching. I am on my second week and have had great success. After playing golf for 12 years and several PGA instructors, this is the first time I have had significant improvement. I was told by some that stack and tilt was a gimmick so I didn’t seek this instruction. I am a believer now. Thank you so much.

Hi Tom, two items really stood out for me. I see Charlie's shoulders hanging down relaxed, instruction I have received told me to keep them up and back. Never worked for me, too much tension. Second as backswing begins he flattens his left wrist and maintains that flat left wrist through impact. Once again different instructors would tell me I was flipping my hands and insist on one piece takeaway with no hand or wrist movement. Yuk! Currently I have been doing what Hoffman is doing in takeaway, now I feel validated in what feels right to me. Playing today with the goal of using pressure in my feet as opposed to that weight shift I have been using. Gonna be some ugly shots but I will be playing 2-4 balls to try to get it right.

Tom, you are fast becoming my go to online teacher. I am embracing the S&T method completely, although I haven’t yet taken it to the golf course due to CN19 restrictions here in the U.K. My garden net and plastic balls are giving me some good feedback......I also follow some other online teachers and I am not surprised they are also using S&T methodology, albeit somewhat modified in that everything stays very centred! Keep it coming, best regards to you and yours. Stay safe

What a breath of fresh air are you mate, I went out to my net and whacked a ball just as you said to, and I didn't even feel it come off the clubhead, I can't wait to get out on the course to see how straight and far it is going to go, in the meantime, I will keep practicing at home, thank you.

Tom, Thank you for this video. This video condenses the concepts explained in multiple other videos into one. Outstanding! Thank you. Also, what editing software are you using and is it for a Mac, PC, tablet?
@SagutoGolf4 жыл бұрын
Hey Steven! Thank you😀 I use OBS studio to record onscreen footage with V1 free version software. Both products are free to use. Outside of that, I use a paid version of VideoPad to edit videos

@@SagutoGolf Thank you Tom. Appreciate the videos. While I am stuck in the house, I am using a mat in my garage to practice the lessons. No balls tho...

Do you think Charley loads up on his left from the back swing?

Does the right armfold naturally Tom, or is it something we need to be very concious of forcing ourselves
@SagutoGolf4 жыл бұрын
It all depends, Steven, since it's a matter of what your natural tendencies and feels are. Does your right arm already fold properly and the prescribed amount without your thinking about it, or do you need to consciously put it in the right position? A little bit of swing video self-diagnosis should answer this question for you. Alternatively, you can sign up for a swing video analysis with me here: app.v1sports.com/Saguto-Golf Additionally, I have a couple of suggestions for you to ponder: 1) If you'd really like to get on the fast track towards owning this swing, please consider enrolling in the SagutoGolf online school. For just $10 US/month or $99 US/year you'll have unlimited access to a comprehensive members-only learning system for the full swing *_(including the finer points and feels)_* and much more. The school's intuitive course curriculum greatly simplifies the entire process through succinct, step-by-step videos, and I'm constantly adding new content. Here's a link if you'd like additional info: saguto.golf/p/golf-swing-simplified-tom-saguto-pga. 2) For a very useful supplement to the online school, consider purchasing a copy of the Stack & Tilt book by Mike Bennett and Andy Plummer. It will serve you well as a textbook reference guide for the swing and will be highly supportive of what you will learn in my online school. It also includes comments from Stack & Tilt PGA Tour pros throughout the book with regard to what they are "feeling" during the various pieces of the swing. I hope this helps! Thanks, Tom

I’m all in, train roll on. My old swing, you see, she had to be free But somehow I've got to carry on. My old swing’s gone with the wind.
