What about in a strictly sideways market, we wait for a breakout in either direction set 2 trades with two different accounts. Set stop loss on both., One will die and the other goes to the moon or to the waterfall

If you have enough capital to support 1000 pips at 0.01 lot sizes per pair, you can pretty much make thousands a day using a robot strategy. And theres a lot of people doing it, yes. As the world currencies or major pairs become more and more equal in value, it becomes easier and less riskier.
