I don’t understand the limit price. If Apple’s strike price is $145 why would the limit price to execute the trade be $2? That means the trade won’t begin until the stock drops to $2

If you do not have the funds to buy 100 shares you can still trade options if you are approved for options trading. Webull will auto sell by the end of the expiration date if you do not sell on your own so that you do not get exercised

Thanks for this video. Very informative. Very new to option trading.... I have a question. What if I don't have shares can I sell on a PUT option ? Example: I dont own any AAPL share. But can I buy an option for Dec 21 PUT 100 @175 for $85 for 100 shares ? and if that goes down can I make a profit ?

You do not need to hold shares to buy a put or sell a put. If you sell a put, you will just need to have the funds in your account to buy 100 shares at the strike price in case the stock closes under the strike price by the expiration date

Thank you so much ... so thats the catch. If it hits the strike price I win or I have to buy the 100 shares. So before going for the PUT option I should be ready to buy the 100 shares if it does not hit the strike price at tge exp date.

Great video selling puts is a win win situation. What are the risk? I mainly just want to collect premium, how do i lose money? I don’t think you can. One risk I can think of is collecting premium then might miss a stock run up but that’s ok I’m fine with just collecting premium especially in this market. My question is how do I lose money? Lose if you sell a put, stock drops lower then your strike price and you either buy the put back for more or get filled and the stock just keeps falling and never gets back to your entry price (strike you bought at)

You don't have to do anything. After the expiration they should no longer show up in the account by the next trading day

I signed up for options trading and I was approved however when I go to options it says that there is a 15 minute delay. Do I need to sign up for OPRA Data to be able to see real-time data? And will they charge me money?

You may need to sign up for real time quotes if they are not showing up but it is free to do
