Great explanation! Please add a video on how you can also blow an account if you make to much, by not taking the profit. I have found so many traders that are learning about a trailing draw down can't comprehend making money and losing their account. We have to take the profit and protect the capital when using the trailing draw-down.

I go in tilt whenever I start a new account or verification stage. I look for trades that are profitable instead of my A+ setups thats have served me well time and time again. One or two good days erases all of it, until I get to the next big round number then it all starts again. Thanks for the vid. Sometimes it's just good to know it happens to other people.

@@JadeCapFX That's just came straight to me, over the last 33 trading days i've been up 5.5% on 200k FTMO Phase 1 Challenge and just 2 bad emotional days at my job cost me this 5.5% and from today I'm even on a -0.5% on the overall challenge, i've just realized that i've grinded these 33 days making these 5.5% giving it away for only 2 emotional bad days at my freaking 9-5, it's really painful but in my 2 years of trading experience i didn't felt that bad at the end of the day. That's why i highly resonate with myself in this video, after a month i will compare the differences after hearing all this from you in this video, it's just like god just gave me the right decisions for my problems, that's how i feel right now, not going to lie. I really have to build my confidence again risking very small to keep performing as i should be. and would love to keep you posted somewhere, even just here on youtube!

Thanks, mate! Great video! People Don't understand this, but having 8 losing streaks is normal in a series of trades! It depends on the win rate, if you have a 60% win rate, I guarantee you will face 6 losing streaks one day! Honestly, if you can't handle 5,6,7,8 losing streaks, you'll fuck up! I've been trading for 4 years now, and I'm trying to increase my pain level every single day! The last max pain level that I successfully passed was 9 losing streaks! This is the only thing I'll focus on in the future of my career!

I would argue if you apply dynamic risk, with no specific reason, after 1-2 losses for example, then your next win, following your plan, would basically be 50% of the win. So 2 losses, net -2R, cut risk in half, now your next win, eg 3R nets, +1.5R. Now you are net -0.5R. instead of +1R. Tilt and fomo can kick in because you are not profiting on your winners as well. This advice makes sense if you use your account to practice, and want to have more shots. But it doesn't make sense if you understand your edge.

I think he meant using a lower percentage on risk. If you were using 1%, maybe is better off to use 0.25 or half a percent whilst in a DD.

If you have $1 and you use leverage of x120 you are now trading with $120 from your $1 If you have $1000 and use a x10 leverage you can put a trading position on for $10000 You can get liquidated very quickly if you over leverage "Leverage is the use of borrowed funds to increase one's trading position beyond what would be available from their cash balance alone. Brokerage accounts allow the use of leverage through margin trading, where the broker provides the borrowed funds."
