It would be fun so hear/watch some of your KZbin subscribers tell their story of how they used your advice and how well it worked. Though it might be a while, once I have selected the right timeshare for my family, I promise to share any successful trade I got using your advice. Thanks again for the great advice.

That is a great idea we will look into it! Yes, we plan on interviewing Salespeople, successful owners, and industry professionals to get inside information. We have just been so busy with the business. We haven’t been able to put much into the KZbin channel but we are going to start soon.

Hello You know with RCI you have to deposit your week 1st and with Interval International you ask for your resort and week you want for your vacation and let them know what unit you want to use , when they find you your week then they take your unit.That is why I changed from RCI.

Very helpful information. I have a 5 bedroom unit (1 to 5 weeks) depending how I use it floating timeshare at Westgate, Orlando FL. Two Elite units with lakeside view with a balcony. 3 units are Traditional (no balcony) no view on the Traditionals if it is not a end unit. All with full kitchen and washer and dryer in the units. I like to get a good place in the Florida keys. I prefer a two bedroom, two bath with a full kitchen , laundry facilities and a pool for starters. I am will to trade a 3 bedroom unit (1 Elite), (2 Traditionals). I have a left over Elite unit from 2021 that I have to use. Looking at the demand I would like to take weeks 21, 22, or 23. 21 in 2022 Is my preferred week but not the best trading power as there is more demand that week in the Keys. My exchange power goes way down as I would like to take late October early November as an alternate. So far your video has made me have a better understanding of the Timeshare exchange. I have to go through Westgate to deposit my week first as Interval International requires it with Westgate. Any advice how to apply this rooms?

If you could please email our team at support@timesharesimplified.com as we cannot find your specific unit. It appears with II week 24 is your best bet or week 10 and for year 2022 week 26 and of course week 51 or 52 if you own those. Please remember you will lose trading power if you are not booking these 10 months in advance. Thanks!

Instead of requesting, there is another option to exchange for what is currently available on II's system. Do you know if trading power is taken into consideration as to where I don't see prime resorts?

Right on glad i could help. Once you figure it out you will love your timeshare they are awesome. Main thing is to book the right week way ahead of time and then know you HAVE to put in the search and 95% of the time you will get it. Thanks for watching and let us know if you have any questions.

Hi, Thanks for lots of information. I watched lots of videos regarding timeshares in United States, but nothing much in Mexico. I bought mine in Mexico and use RCI instead of interval. Please explain the difference between points and weeks? How to get from 8 points to 21 points.
@TimeshareSimplified
@TimeshareSimplified 4 жыл бұрын
Savy Chin hi Savy! OK you can buy my book on Amazon it’s time for tips and tricks and I have two chapters on how to get the best week you want. However to get the most points for your week in RCI you got to do a couple things and the first day is to find the best value week you have access to. Now the RCI system is a little different than the interval system but they essentially work the same. What you should do is find the best weeks you have access to in your system that you own. Once you know what season go to www.intervalworld.com and pull up the resort area that you own in. So let’s say you in a week in Orlando go to Interval world.com pull up another resort in Orlando since yours probably won’t be a member of Interval and then pull up any other resorts and go to the trading demand index on the side. Now that you have the week to go in and hand see you own weeks one through 32 Pull up the trading demand index and find which one of those weeks has a bubble that’s the farthest to the right. On the bottom and has a scale of 0 to 150 essentially you want the week in the bubble that’s worth the most points. This is typically going to be something like New Year’s, Christmas, Fourth of July, Daytona 500, stuff like that. Now that you know what week you have access to that’s the best week or it could be a number of weeks depending upon where you are on do you wanna find the one that’s the farthest out from the day you’re booking it. So see you on Orlando Christmas weeks the best along with New Year’s and Fourth of July And then book the one that’s the farthest in advance from the day you’re doing it to get the maximum trading power preferably over 10 months in advance. If you book the week less than 10 months in advance it drops the number of points your week is worth. Then in the future always booked that week you have access to the best week on the first day you’re able to say one year in advance and then you’ll be able to maximize the number of points RCI will give you for that. Let me know if you have any questions on that or if that makes sense but essentially to get the most RCI points for your trade you have to have a primetime week, the best season, the best dates, and it Has to be Booked more than 10 months in advance

@@TimeshareSimplified I watched your videos talking about "travel demand index" Very helpful. It was like learning to read a foreign language. If I understand right, when using points, I should use those points to book the most valuable (highest demand) week for the area I have access to, as far in advance as possible and deposit it. Then pick the places I want to go to as far in advance as possible, my chances of getting that reservation are increased by booking outside of high demand times. The cost to trade is around 200 dollars. And the cost to get a bigger place than you own is around 100 dollars per room upgrade? Is that about right?
@tonyavitia6556
@tonyavitia6556 Жыл бұрын
@@christinehoolihan7433 Hey Christine! Well, that can be true in most points systems they give you Unser press trading power so you can actually skip step one. They just charge you more points for the higher demand times of the year. So essentially you can skip the first step of booking what you need And just go into making the request. What point system do you own at?
@tonyavitia6556
@tonyavitia6556 Жыл бұрын
@@christinehoolihan7433 hey Christine! Well typically, it depends on what point system you have, but they typically have unsurpassed trading abilities such as Worldmark and Marriott so you dont need to do step 1. They give you the 150 Trading power and it just costs more points to go in the prime season. Then you just skip to step 2 of putting in your ongoing search. You are correct it’s around $100 per unit size upgrade but if you’re in a point system they just charge you more points. You don’t necessarily have to pay the hundred dollar room upgrade fees. Those are for when your own weeks. Let us know if you have any other questions!

Can you do the same thing with short stays? Deposit my week and then look for whichever short stay I want? I have Westgate 2bd with studio lock off like you. The plan is to deposit those separately so I can then get two 6 day short stays from each one. Then try to get a short stay at a nice place. One other question. Can I get a different resort within my network and then deposit that into II? In other words, if I can get a high demand week somewhere else within network, which would be better than my home, would that also work with II for a deposit? Getting my mercedes at a different in network resort.

Hey. No, you can’t trade a week and then use that traded week as a trade. So you can’t do that you have to make the trade-in to the good place initially. I don’t think you can do a ongoing search for the short stays though. That’s only downside to the short stay as they don’t let you do an ongoing search or at least they didn’t. I haven’t tried it in a few years so maybe they changed it. But last time I checked for short, you had to go with whatever was available at the time. But you might want to ask them or if the button pops up to do an ongoing search for the short stay then definitely do that but I like your plan should work out and you might even be able to convert into Interval international points and use their points system. Allow you to use the shorter stays easier

My units state week 3 and 4. Does that mean I cannot change my weeks? I can only book weeks 2 and 4?
@TimeshareSimplified
@TimeshareSimplified 3 жыл бұрын
Eva E Valdez Hi thanks for watching and yes they usually assign you a certain week number when you buy it but typically you can use any week within the season you purchase such as red, white, blue or platinum, whatever. So what you wanna do is find out which season button and which way do you have access to the book by calling your resort developer and/or looking in your online account. Then once you find out what week you have access to write them down then go to interval international pull up your resort that you own at the go to the travel demand index which is a small blue line on the right side open it up. Then find It’s one of those weeks has the bubble farthest to the right of the scale. Then which ever week it is right that week down and if there’s any others worth the same or close to the same in value and those will be the weeks that you want to trade. Then in the future you’ll want to book those weeks a year in advance and then immediately deposit them with Interval for maximum trading power. Because then even if you want to go back to your own resort you can still trade in your own resort but then you have access to travel anywhere and you have a three-year window
