You can't endorse that type of behavior, trust me you're endorsing it without realizing it, my trainer made me aware of this mistake I was making myself, you literally have to control their environment, you have to always be 1 step ahead and it can become difficult because Huskies are insanely intelligent, without realizing they're owning you and walking all over you, you have to decide when they get to play, when they have to sit still etc. You do this through a combination of different methods (obedience training, crate training, usage of treats and toys, exercise) this will teach them obedience, manners and boundaries. We bought our husky on impulse (bad idea, I know) and had no clue what we were getting ourselves into, we nearly had to give it up, but through diligence and persistence this is what I found works best, now we cam trust our husky enough to roam the house free as to where before it was definitely not the case....

Thanks to your videos I trained my 2 month old Husky puppy to sit, stay, lay down, spin, heal, shake hands, and speak all in one month and potty training has gone perfectly she's 4 months old now and gots it 100% down she can now run on command and is working towards sled dog work I just wanted to thank you so much for the help! She is my first dog that is my own and thanks to you she is becoming an amazingly trained dog. I grew up with a husky and he didn't know how to do half the stuff she does and he was kept outside 24-7, I trained him to pull me on skateboard as a kid but that was all he knew. I'm so happy my new puppy gets to enjoy the indoor life and I can take her with me to so many places!

@@danniemikeey579 teach your husky to run on comand, run with him her and say hike when u do. When u want to stop running say heal and come to a slow and then complete stop. It helps them on a leash get an idea of what u want them to do on a higher scale and work down. Use treats say heal and direct them to your side and when u do so give lots of praise! It's helped me lots as far as leash training goes.

They're hands down the absolute best dogs in the world. Yes, they take a lot of time and dedication to train. Some like my doggo Saber acts like he's on drugs all day😂 zoomies and face licks all day....just running circles around me and yapping. Wont ever stop talking bacl😂 love him so much. Training has been rough, he's now 9 and still things he's the little 2 and a half month old pup I brought home 🥲 Like buddy you weight 54 lbs already, imma stop feeding you steak, salmon and chicken.😂

I love all of your videos. I’ve been scouring through them since we decided to get a husky. We got our husky pup 6 weeks ago and are madly in love with her. She’s super sweet and smart. Your videos have helped me learn how to work with our pup who might be smarter than I am. She’s got a mind of her own, but she’s super proud whenever she learns something new. Thanks for all the great tips when it comes to having a husky! Your huskies are awesome!

Hey ! I know it's been a while but i hope you'll still see that message :') I just got a 6 weeks old lil pup too, but i am pretty busy during the day as i have school from 7:30am to 6:30pm, so i'm taking care of (training, playing) my pup before and after these hours. My pup stays in the garden which is pretty large so he has enough space to play and roam free whenever, but i wonder how i'll manage to potty train him since we need to watch puppies during all times to catch them committing THE crime and show them it's wrong (punish, yell a loud "No") and reward them when they do it right (Well, that is, if i understood well at least). In any case, i'm wondering if i can manage to get him potty train soon, if weekends and the little hours i can spend with him during the week are enough to teach him not to do those things in some places. What's your intake on the situation please ? Do you have any advice or recommendation of techniques to be able to train my little pup ? Do you think i'll manage to train him soon ? Thanks for any answers !

Don't listen to people on KZbin with ZERO credentials. Especially when these people have videos on their channel that are giving absolutely the wrong type of information when it comes to raising dogs. Especially when their dogs are obviously not raised correctly (also, videos on this channel to proof that). Do your own research, listen to actual experts, and just go to puppy training where people have actual experience training dogs.
@edi67224 жыл бұрын

So we now have a 4 MTH old female husky. She sits. Sleeps in bedroom with my gf. Biting and jumping and pulling for walks will be a challenge. But restrategizing great words of wisdom. @samanthaweedon27385 жыл бұрын
Well 6 weeks is pretty young to come home. It takes a few weeks for them to get used to the leash. Try a harness if you haven't already to keep the leash out of their face. Using a longer leash that can drag on the ground while they're learning to get used to is helpful for the little ones. Doesn't take long for them to get used to it. Best of luck!
