We have started to introduce the puppies from this summer to rabbits. We beginning with San Juan rabbits and Tennessee red backs. This helps introduce scent and sire chasing at an early age.

Hey , at what month did you let them hunt? And how was it their first hunt? I got a 5 month beagle and she been doing good chasing the rabbit at home but I took her out hunting with me yesterday and it doesn’t look like she can get on a rabbit. A rabbit will run by and my dog isn’t able to run a track Any advise ?
