I was injured during deadlift in 2017 and was unable to exercise properly for 2 years because of Lower back injury,, but I started doing planks and managed to do it more than 5 mins and now I do all compound movement properly with enough weights 👍

This summarize almost everything that I learned myself with my lower back pain issue (sciatic+hernia) for the last 3 years. Here it's documented in under 10min. So great! That is amazing content, wish I had these informations way earlier. I think the main focus would be: NEVER STOP MOVING. This is what I learned the most.

I've dealt with back pain for years since an injury I sustained in the Marine Corps. I find stretching to be the best thing to ease the pain. Also, the inversion chair provides temporary relief. Interested in strength training to reduce flair-ups.
@triedproven99083 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Hanging helps too. And oddly ab twist will align the spine.
@napkinsingh3 жыл бұрын
Dude same. Honestly happened in bootcamp alone. Aye but don’t worry “your injury is not service related”🤣 stretching, ab training and back training (like getting a full pump) usually fixes it for me in like 2-3 sessions over a 1.5 week period.
@usmclongrangebrainsurgeon3 жыл бұрын
@@napkinsingh it will never be the same, treat it as pain management for the rest of your life. Get strong while you're young

I've been struggling with back pain for over 10 years, stretching and hanging for pain relief ... Believe it or not my pain disappeared when I started to follow recommendations of Dr. Stewart McGill. Try to stop stretching! It seems counterintuitive but if you give it a time you will see what I am talking about. All kinds of core stability exercises, crawls, planks, planks on bosu ball, static bridges, serratus work ... I hope it will help you, I know what you feel!

Let me help you with my many years of backpain experience. Swim for the rest of your life. Running and even extended walking is just too much jostling around and intermittent stability. You'll end up sore, swollen and most likely out of alignment after every workout. If you must run or walk do it on an incline of 3 degrees or more and don't hyperextend the drive phase you want to be high kneed with a mid foot touch and go. Stretch daily. Major focus on loosening the hamstrings, glutes and hip flexors. This will bring the most relief 100%. Don't pick up a weight until you can do body weight movements with little or no pain. Isolate core and lower back movements with slow burning reps instead of fast reps. Then don't pick up a weight until you can do plyometric movements without issue. Jumping rope is ok as long as you focus on keeping your core tight and in place and is perferred over running. Swimming will be your best friend you'll find tho.

Bodybuilding is saving my life. Because of my lower back inuries I now have severe nerve pain for 4 years. Since one year I could start real training again. I decided to build an armor of muscles around my core and get as strong as possible. So in part thanks to your videos I'm living a life again. Not completely full on, but I'm deadlifting 1,5 times my weight, I can drive a car again, do a handstand, go out sometimes, etc. Thanks so much for these videos. It moves me that the formula of eating right and training can be so effective.

@@chadhamed Thanks so much! Indeed, I train almost every day. And half of those days I train two times. Strength, conditioning and flexibility. That's what it takes, but the results are amazing.
