Current update. My dog finally learnt to put the tennis 🎾 in the launcher himself!🎉 now after walking, training sessions he can continue to play whilst I get some work done! He’s a malinois x Tervuren so constantly needs attention and a ‘job’!

I have been trying for days to get my dogs to do this. I can get them to bring me the ball but cannot for the life of me get them to actually bring it to my hand.

I am trying, sor hard with our dog. I even did a live demo a couple of times. I put the ball in with my mouth and showed her. No go still.

What is the time between throwing the ball into the device and its ejection? On various videos I saw that sometimes it is almost immediately and sometimes even up to 12 seconds. What it depends on. I know there is a movement sensor but in these videos it was not activated

What was the make and model of that ball lancher? The one we have now, you have to use the remote to launch the ball. My dog waits for the ball to launch when he puts the ball into the launcher. If no one is around, he sits and waits.

I have been told that this unit will launch the ball up to 250 yards. Is that accurate, if so, would that injure my dog if the sensor failed? Thanks

I fetch only goes 10 25 or 40 feet. I would imagine pretty similar for this

I have one and a Border Collie. The first design change I’d make is to be able to bypass the timer. Casey can play fetch for well over 15minutes and barks at it or knocks it over when it times out. I then have to turn it off, pull a battery to reset it and turn it back on. The proximity motion sensor works well and is a good feature. I use the plastic glow in the dark balls. They last forever, don’t get soggy, easily washed and easy on the mouth and teeth. Also fun at night when dark.

In fairness, we got ours to supplement a couple of hours walking and half an hour of frisbee a day with the collies as they still have more energy to use up, to keep them entertained when we need to get some work done.
