Hi Michael, Thanks for the video. I've just made a Swapsy account, but found there are no British Pounds or Canadian Dollar options....just USD / RMB. Have the GBP and Canadian dollar options been removed do you know?

Why would we use Swapsy if it has to go to Paypal and the whole point is to avoiding paypal fees? Is it better to get a Zelle account?

@@BorderlessCommerce Sorry I am confused, I am slow :P. So I am in the US, I have a US account. My family in China like to send me money to my US account. They have CNY only in their bank card that links to their Alipay. I have no alipay bc I have no bank card in China. So how does this work with Swapsy? What do I upload in the US e wallet? My US bank account I suppose. How about my Chinese Wallet? Whose alipay info. I need to upload to the Chinese eWallet? Thank you, again I am sorry that I am such a slow learner :(

Good to have an alternative... - but when in China, doing a bank transfer is cheaper, last time I payed a total of 1.5% in fees for my transaction to overseas, including exchange rate loss. (+ 2h in the bank for the bureaucracy). Make sure that the Chinese bank makes the currency exchange, they mostly use good rates. - when overseas, using a the Chinese ATM card to withdraw money cost me usually less than 2% of fees, if taking max withdrawal amount I get as low as 1%, including exchange rate loss. - unrelated to this, but for Malaysia and Thailand I've found that if you look for a currency exchange agent with good conditions you can sometimes exchange money with no loss at all, but there are huge differences between different agents. If you plan a trip there, it may be worth bringing cash, if you can withdraw it for free in your home country. This also, because many ATMs in this countries are not safe to use (skimming). Yes, my card got skimmed...

@@BorderlessCommerce I was lucky that it was my credit card, so the bank covered the loss... about 2 weeks after the card was skimmed I suddenly had cash withdrawals from Indonesia to the maximum that the card allowed. Then a couple of days later they tried to withdraw money from all over the world. I kept getting the failed transaction messages, that's why I know they kept trying to withdraw money. My best guess is that the card got skimmed and the information then got sold to several buyers,...

Currently only seems to offer transfer to USD and 'As receive wallet, PayPal is currently not available due to high demand.' Things do change quickly!
