Never used an Android Tablet in my life and have been racking my brain for the past 3 hours on how I was going to transfer video files from my PC to my RCA 7 Voyager tablet (RCT6773W22) which I recently purchased at Walmart for under $30. I attempted to do so using Windows Media Player 11 which I have used on my MP3 players but with no success on my RCA tablet. I'm running Windows Vista on my PC so installing WMP 12, which recognizes a wider range of video files, was out of the question. So I then decided to look for a KZbin tutorial--and yours was the first I stumbled across and I am very grateful since your advice worked. Thanks a million.

This video is outdated. Technology has advanced. A lot. MY experience was that I simply connected the Samsung Galaxy S2 tablet (9.7 but that doesn't actually matter)to my PC. I highlighted an mp4 file in the directory, clicked copy, then clicked on the directory on the tablet and then paste and VI-OLA. Couple of minutes and it was there, 3.4 MB. I had previously downloaded VLC to the tablet, opened it, clicked the file I just copied without any of the steps in this video and it palyed as it should. But, this is MY experience. Yours may vary.

you may need to convert the video on your PC first, or play it with a different player on mobile or tablet.

What if we want it to save to the sd card as we simply don't have enough space to save everything to a tablet. Its 2019 and tablets commonly only have 16gb and 32gb.

Still haven't found the file in Download Manager, but there are some files dated 2011 and I got this Matsunichi 9.7 tablet thru a credit card rewards program in 2014. So am I uncovering something? The rewards program may not be giving you new merchandise?

I had downloaded a movie couple of days ago. I tried to copy it from my PC to my Tablet (4,6GB HD movie). The copying process has stopped at 89%, and this popped up: The file cannot be copied. WHY?? I want to see 720p HD movie on my Tablet but cannot copy it from my PC to Tablet. I tried it directly via USB, and also with AirDroid. Please advice! :(

What if it just plain doesn't show up in the explorer menu? This is the problem that i face. Windows is not reading it. It charged off bus power while i had it connected, so, the physical connection is there, but..........ok........while i was typing this, i found a setting on the device to "restore factory defaults", and, immediately after the tablet BIOS flash on its restart: it appeared in file explorer (not to be confused with Explorer search engine, which, has nothing to do with any of this ). Although, i did not previously enable any setting or anything that would have locked locked it out from interfacing with windows.......did I?........no, i carefully read everything during the first setup, anyway, it seems to be working as i initially hoped for now. I am relieved this is possible. I am certain this will prove to make the tablet more useful.

I did a factory reset. Have not struggled with it since.The strange thing was that they transferred easily but vanished, looked all thru internal storage, nothing. More trouble than it's worth.
