You can transfer red yellow blue but its extremely convoluted and difficult there is a video showing how, its probably not worth it though

pksm (fanmade pokemon save managar) can transfer pokemon from gen 1 to 7 quite easily and then you can transfer it to bank, then home and then scarlet and violet

@@dimitrisbatzios6042 its pretty simple, if you have a 3ds, hack it and install pksm on it and then you can use it to transfer pokemon between saves and once you have it on gen 7 use bank to take the pokemon to home (you need to be fast im pretty sure banks being shut down relatively soon)

You just need one DS Fat/Lite and one 2ds/3ds to do everything (GBA onwards)

I have always transferred Pokémon with my old grey gamboy to gamboy color. I have that cord that allows you to do that.

@@alexdanci4216, pokebank is still active right now so you can still transfer from 3DS to Switch as long as you have it installed. I believe you can also install it through modding your 3ds as well, there will be video tutorials in youtube about modding.

@@creeper4481 The servers are still up for that, though I still suggest getting every Pokémon and the shinies up to Gen 7, cause it's only a matter of time.
