I really appreciate the video. I'm someone who is not tec savvy. Will this work with any monitor with a USB-C port? If the broken phone is charged, do I need the cable you used for supplying power, or will the USB-C cable I use to charge the phone work? Can I use the wireless keyboard from my desktop instead of the mini you used? If I find a monitor without a USB-C port but has an HDMI, will this work if I use a HDMI to USB-C adapter at the phone end? Thanks for any help.

Plug it in the back of your TV with a USB -C cord and then you can see your phone screen on there.

this method might work but it's not practical for someone who just broke their phone. something more simple with less tools would be ideal.

Even if phone 📱 screen is black by connecting to monitor via mhl cable display should still work on monitor as long as your phone turns on.
