Could you please explain how to turn your WiFi setting on on the Sony camera? Also, if you delete a picture from the camera after it’s been transferred to the iPad, will it also delete off the iPad?

I’ve tried the first method but the QR code does not stay on the Sony camera long enough to allow me to copy it onto my iPhone. Is there a solution, please. Otherwise, yours is the clearest video I have found. Thank you.

Just to clarify, how exactly did you move the RAW files? I don't see any option when doing it wirelessly on the app. I'm guessing you can "import" them from the corded option?

On my Sony RX100 IV, when I was testing and chose to shoot in MP4, I was able to transfer wirelessly, but since I ultimately want to shoot in XAVC-S, I ordered a dongle. Your video essentially show the same steps as the RX100 series.

Well, with the latest update to my iPhone to iOS 13 and the photo import shuts down using the dongle. It no longer works... 😕

This only works if the file format is MP4. Doesn’t work as AVCHD. Using a a6000.

Thanks, very helpful with the wifi part! You could also use the Apple Camera Connection Kit (essentially a dongle with a SD card reader) to download to the iPad or iPhone without using the camera at all.

Sharing if anyone having this issue. Was having trouble not hearing sound when I transfered my a6600 videos using WiFi or a USB cable. Saw a video discussing proxy recording , I turned that on and my videos transfered to my Android phone with audio and the USB connect also worked, the video files were not in the same place as the pictures ...but all the videos were together and play perfectly

Unfortunately, this isn't working for my Sony RX100M5 iPad Pro10.5 combo. The MTP USB screen comes up on the camera but there are no photos to import on the screen in iPad. Does this work in iOS13 also?

I have a Sony a6000 and page 5 does not have USB power supply listed. The menu on page 5 is completely different from the menu on your camera. Page 5 list consists of Format, File Number, select REC folder, Folder Name, Recover Image DB. The Sony Image Edge app automatically converts RAW to JPEG so Im trying not to use that. Any thoughts on this?
