Put it into an adapter and put that into your pc/laptop etc… might be able to get leads that go from camera to pc or laptop and it might download into a file as if it was recording and saving a dvd or cd etc… this is what I’m hoping when I’ve to do all this for hubby who’s not computor intelligent… but neither am I - I’m a learner too to all this

This is a work round for me, thank you. I used to be able to just put the SD card in and chose the Card and it would download to my pictures folder but for some reason it stopped doing it.

Hi, so I watched this video tutorial and I did all the steps you did and before I removed the SD card, I had deleted the files off my SD card, but only after I made sure that the files were moved into my "pictures" folder on my laptop. But after that. All the files that were on my SD card were gone. So the files I had just imported into the "picture" folder were gone as well. I have yet to try to rearchive those files from my trash can

update: i insureted my SD card back in, restored all the files in my recyciling bin, and repeated your steps. redeleted the files i didnt want, and then took out my SD card, and my files saved. So, im not sure what i did wrong the first time, haha but hopefully things stay the way they are currently

It says there is insufficient disc space but my SD card can hold 32 GB and the file I'm trying to put on it is 5.5 GB. Now what? Edit: I think it will only let me move 4 or 5 GB at a time so that's why it won't work.

Your computer may not have an SD card slot. You can buy a SD card USB adapter, they don't cost much.

you have to get a card reader thingie and a USB hub, and then its just easy to do! I got one at Radio Shack and it has 4 ports and even I figured it out!

Your laptop either has a sd port where you can insert the big sd card / with adapter for micro sd card or you night have to get cord that connects hour camera or another device to your laptop

Yes. You can use the SD card to copy and transfer files, for as long as it keeps on working.

If you can't find the SD card slot, your computer probably doesn't have one. However, you can buy an adapter, which plugs directly into the USB port.

Do you know what format your videos are in? If you can view them, but can't play them, you may need to use something like VLC media player, which is a free download.

Depuis que j'ai acheté mon camescope Canon HFR 706 Legria, j'ai toujours fais des vidéos, et les transfer correctement sur mon ordinateur portable Lenovo, et je viens de faire encore des vidéos cet apres-midi (que je peux lire directement sur mon camescope), MAIS je n'arrive aujour d'hui je n'arrive pas à trasferer mes ichier de ma carte mémoire vers mon ordi portable.(Que cee soit par le cable reliant le camescope au portable, pu par l'intermédiaire d'une clef usb spéciale de raliment, Je sui tres inquiet de ne pas pouvoir transfer mes vidéos, je ne sais pas comment faire.

You failed to show HTF to move 300 images from the SD cars to a new folder!!!!! all these YT videos only show a person clicking on ONE freaking thing!!!! Useless! Please show how to click on 300 images out of 2457 and move them to a brand-new folder!!!!! And don't say left click, control, then left -click on each image!! I don't want to click on 300+ images!
