How To Transfer PS4 Data & Games To PS5

I just signed into my psn account that the ps4 was also under, and I could see all the games in my library without doing the games and apps transfer. Do I still need to do that step, or is it enough that I just transferred save data?

Should be enough if you transferred the save data just double check everything is fine chances are you probably won't be playing any PS4 games on your new PS5 but always good to have the choice

So I was able to transfer my data and games over to ps5. Some of my games can be updated to ps5 versions. If I do that will my save data work for the ps5 versions?

That's a great question I'm not sure I can give you a 100% yes or no answer for that as I'm not sure what happens with PS4 save data once you upgraded to ps5 version

Some games won’t like for example sniper elite 5 it’s a completely new game from what I’ve heard

After the data is transfers can you delete the info on the ps4 so you can get it ready for reselling

I believe so once all your data is transferred it's now on the PS5 so you don't need it on the PS4 double check everything you want has transferred before resetting your ps4

The Original PS4 splits into 2 and between them is Power button and Eject Button. The Power button is above you just hold it for 1 second.

Your funds are linked to your PSN account so I don't see why not but please double check online from Sony if that's indeed the case

@@gubly849 yes. I have 1 hdmi cord I share with ps5 and 4. You can even hear the audio from the one without the hdmi as long as you have headphones or something hooked up to it. The hdmi is responsible for the visual not the power

I have multiple outlets on my TV but I'm too lazy to keep switching lol. So physically plug/unplug the HDMI between them as needed

That's a tough one, you should create one asap. I believe this is common sense. Then try to upload to the cloud w ps plus, everything will be easily accessible when you sign in w your same account on the ps5
