You have some crazy carpentry skills. That hallway looks terrific. What a transformation.

The thing I love about your show is that you, and everybody else wants to be validated and told good job. Too many people want to be told good job without even starting the job. You work hard, do great work and the job itself says good job! I say good job too!

I'd get two types of rugs when you're ready. For winter something a little thicker and for summer something light.

A lake house is best when it’s easy to clean, so much tends to get tracked in. I think the hallway is great just as it is! So nice:)

Thanks mate. I find these really motivational. You're a pro at flooring and trim these days. There's lots of little tricks in this video that are just great. Gonna go paint and reinstall the railing. At least I can paint outside!

Looks like a new house! I wish I had patience but unfortunately I do not. Your results are beautiful. The floor looks awesome. I would NOT hide its beauty.

Personally, I wouldn't add a runner because I think the plank flooring looks perfect. I don't like telling other people what they should do, I prefer to tell them what I would do if it was my house. However, since it's your house so you do you and whatever suits you best.
@1973Grejluder2 жыл бұрын
I would suggest that you had a roof window placed above the dark area 12:04. Depending on how the house placed and how large of a window you can have it could also be facing south. If the window can be opened then it would it easy to have some draft through the house during the sommer.

Beautiful!! I love attention to detail making everything fit perfectly. The charm of the oldendays. Nothing boils my blood like seeing crappy work, where it could have been nice- ya know!? Great JOB 👏 maybe ill join in on carpentry. I get so depressed seeing dull square buildings with lack of love and attention and detail. I get so depressed driving through scummy areas, and in contrast, feel so nice and uplifted in well designed spaces. 💖❣️🧡💛💚
