I was so avoiding this one! But you guys convinced me to finally transform the Woodland Mansion in Minecraft.
In the end I'm glad I built this one! Definitely my favourite Minecraft House Build I've created so far & I hope this build inspired you, gave you ideas, built tips & all the rest!

They wont do it, it is too complex and mojang wants simple not too crazy designs, like the new village designs. They went for better yet still simple designs because they want the player to be creative.

Other reason Mojang wont do it is that Mansions generate differently each time, so it has to have cubic and repetitive patterns so it can mix

Woodland mansions have randomized interiors and wouldn't play nicely with this, theres also possible performance concerns with builds like this that the more basic design doesn't have.

I am taking on this task as well but I have a different approach. 1. Find a mansion. 2. Re do the inside. 3. Use the flat roof to make a village. 4. Decorate to inside. 5. Decorate to top floors roof. My mansion was half way under ground and surrounded by the roofed forest so I did not focus on the outside. (The main entrance is also underground.) It is fun yet I can't wait for step 2 to be compete.

There's actually a reason for why the buildings are basic. Essentially, when you give the players an option to randomly get the opportunity for living in a beautiful house, it doesn't force them to create their own houses. Basic buildings mean players have an incentive for building better structures.

You can locate structures using the command /locate insert type of structure. Then you can just to to the coordinates given. I hope you find this useful. Like so jeracraft sees.

To locate a monument in Minecraft, go to the command section which you can access by pressing "/" Then type "locate" and then write the monument of your choice. Automatically, coordinates of the nearest monument will appear and you can teleport yourself by clicking on them. It's much easier than to trade with villagers
