Hello, my name is Jennifer Davenport, and in this video, I will show you how I did a budget-friendly makeover on my bathroom! Would you recommend wallpaper if it is a bathroom being used daily? Was looking at my kids bathroom last night and it is the same design as yours. Wasn't sure if wallpaper around the shower with teenagers is the greatest idea, haha!

Just found your channel. Thanks for sharing your journey through designs. The tab top curtains for the shower/tub is very nice. I think you could put the ringed liner between the tabs on the shower side without anything being seen from the bathroom side. Have you ever used a skirted toilet? They are so much cleaner looking and actually so much easier to clean. Many options do not cost any more than the old style bulging plumbing models used in that project. Be aware though that there are brands that call the product 'white' when they are in fact a creamy 'off white'. thx again!

Darling guest bathroom. You have such great ideas. I really want to use rub and buff on some dark gray handles on some cherry cabinets that I have in my living room.,I love antique brass accents , but I don’t want the handles to stand out, so Im thinking of oil rubbed bronze. What would you suggest for vaulted ceilings in a bathroom (with tiles already in place around the sinks, tub, shower, and toilet) to break up the monotony of the tall ceilings? Two framed mirrored medicine cabinets are above each sink with double light fixtures above each. The sinks are in one cabinet with the toilet beside it and the shower and tub are on opposite sides of the room with a closet and entry doors at each end separating sides.

Do you have a surefire way to whiten your tile grout? The tile in our condo is fine (white laid on the diagonal) but the grout is white in some pots and grimy gray in other areas. I read that some people use a bleach cleaner but the fumes. UG! Ideas?

I really appreciate you showing everyone that you do not have to gut your whole bathroom to get a new bathroom. So many think they have to gut everything which all ends up in a land fill and cost you $15,000+ to put in a new bathroom. Yes, there are times you have to gut a bathroom cabinet. (ie past water leak issues etc) but, most of the time paint or stripping a old stain off of the cabinet and picking a new stain does a masterful job at refreshing a cabinet/bathroom. You can also just change out the old cabinet doors for new ones (if say you have formica cabinet doors from the 1980s & want new doors). I have also watched you tube vids where they took old famica doors and added a wood veneerer top/around the cabinet door frame and wood sides to make the door look like brand new kitchen show room design. Lots of ways to update your cabinets for very little money and some elbow grease. You can paint bathtubs and also, shower/bathtub tile too. And, you can title over old shower title/bathtub tile vs ripping everything out see yt vids. Your bathroom looks like a interior designer bathroom. Great job!! 👏🌷🌷🌷

Love this makeover. If you were going to use shower doors, what color door trim would you use with the gold/chrome/black mix? I have really nice gold mirror/lights/hardware on double sink vanity and we are getting ready to tear out the existing tub in a 50 year old bathroom. Absolutely love the wallpaper.

Jennifer, I am sure I watched one of your videos on refreshing porch urns for spring. But I can't find it. Was I dreaming? Here's my accidental success story. After the pansies froze this neverending winter, I sprinkled mixed green lettuce seeds in all of my terra cotta pots on the patio and at front and back doors. Then ran back inside by the fire. Now all of those pots are filled with spring green lettuce leaves in shades of green and red. About 6 inches tall. Fresh. Cheerful. Edible even. This might not work in a subdivision, but it is perfect for my country road. Wanted to share it with you.

I love the bathroom. Toile is one of my favorite prints, too. Monochromatic color schemes are my very favorite color scheme for everything. It is so calming and comfortable as well as stunning. Combining the two is a sure fire winner. I will offer you a word of warning. Watch our for your shower curtains. I hung mine that way and the water would hit the shower curtain and make it soaking wet because the liner was higher than the hem of the outer panel. I rarely say this, but I chose function over form here and allowed my liner to hang a tad lower than the panel. I used clear and it is much less noticeable. You could also try white to match your panels.
