Started using Neptune seaweed with fish fertilizer and black strap molasses. My apple trees went crazy with new growth. About 6 to 8 inches in two and half weeks. My blueberries were not doing much in growth and now there starting to grow. Now I'm feeding the tomatoes, I think the product is well worth the cost.

@@SouthernDirtGardener where are you located centrally? I’m pretty new to Florida as I moved almost 4 years ago from Oregon and do not know Florida that well. I’am starting to think central Florida somewhere might be more of my liking for various reasons….more off grid, larger property, away from the suburbs if we end up having a major food shortage. Scary and uncertain times we’re living in currently 🙏

I have to add something here of importance to what was said in vid concerning foliar spraying, correct it should be done early morn or evening but but avoiding doing because of hot sun burning plants during mid day is not the reason. The reason to avoid during midday is the stomata pores are not open to accept the spray. Thats why its best in early morning,, otherwise you would be wasting time and money.

Also the rose and flower version at 2-6-4 is made from north atlantic fish and seaweed , so the fish ingredients are there , a little more in this version. 1 extra ingredient I add to my tomato plants at planting time are sardines in water. This will give even more nutrients as it decomposes. Just make sure if you bury fish they are deep enough to not be dug up by critters.

I will check on the products that you used and see if they might be sold locally , I would also like to ask if you grow in progression (zone 9a Florida) and what's the latest you normally start that process , if you do ???
@SouthernDirtGardener2 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure what you are asking... I start most of my plants is September-November but there is something you can start from seed thoughout the year. I plant year round.

@@SouthernDirtGardener... I was wondering if you start seeding for tomato plants (for example) a month or so apart, so they don't all mature and start producing at the same time ??? ... or does it just get too doggone HOT !
