This is a great way to transport wet oil paintings on different surfaces such as: canvas, paper or boards. You can use coins, plastic bottle caps and cardboard for the corners. I suggest cardboard or a thin sheet of wood. When I paint plein Air Paintings or attend a workshops, I would stack my boards together with pennies in between and tape them together, wrap them in paper and put them in my luggage or backpack. Easy and cheap. Because paper is a little flimsy, tape it down on a piece of cardboard first then add your cardboard corners. Stack them together and even create a handle with some thick string/cordage/plastic/cardboard on the top to transport them to class or home.
