I’m planning to visit Japan with my partner in 2024. I just want to know how much the hotels cost, in Tokyo, with a good star rating, and if it’s best to take a package or to book hotel and flight separately. And which is the best month to visit (Nice weather etc)

Having a family, it would be great to figure out how to save money. I have never tried packaged meals from 7-11. They actually look good. Yes, the sushi train is back. Portion control is our problem, especially us getting snacks.

I live in Morioka Japan, I eat for 10,000 yen a month or 90 usd. Just go to the grocery stores at night and buy fresh produce things on sale thats going bad and live off of rice and veggies :) Package foods at 7-11 and family mart is a total rip off!!
@mariaandbryan4 жыл бұрын
I hear you, I was feeling claustrophobic by just watching you there lol
@PeterandYen4 жыл бұрын
Great tips cause Japan can definitely get expensive. The conveni stores are often our go to for a cheap onigiri which ends into an expensive snack run 😂 yoshinoya is also a great v recommendation 👍 I find those cheap all you can eat izakayas have some tough sakes 😂 trains are cheap but they add up real fast, walking definitely better and you see more too. Since the strict Airbnb rules they are way more expensive now.... Used to be able to get a room for $60 per person a night but no more.
@HangryByNature4 жыл бұрын
LOL we alays have that problem as well >.< Yeah it's a shame they have gone up, used to be a bargain. Still a decent option compared to Hotels. Much bigger space.

Gee thanks for the reminder. We were supposed to be leaving for Japan on Sunday 😥 Now we can't even drive across town to our favourite Japanese supermarket because it is out of our 5 kay lock down zone 😂 But yeah, top video. People always say to us, Japan is so expensive. And we go, nah, it is a cheap as chips. Sure you can spend 400 bucks at your favourite sushi bar but you can also feed the whole fam for less than 20 bucks on pre-made meals and fried chicken from Lawson. And Yoshinoya for sure. Totes cheap. Love it. I miss Japan so much.
