How to travel to Dubai from India now - How to travel to Dubai with Covaxin

Hello. In this video, I will be telling you all the process for visiting Dubai from India in 2021. Three tests are required as of now for entry to Dubai. They are
1. One RT-PCR Test done 48 hours before departure
2. One Rapid PCR Test done within 6 hours of departure at the airport
3. One RT-PCR Test after landing at Dubai
Please remember that you must carry a hard copy of negative test report to the airport. The test report must carry a QR Code linked to the original report. Also, the test has to be done at an approved ICMR Lab.

Be sure to check your name (spelling) and Passport number in the test report. Erroneous reports may lead to denial of boarding.

Did you give a nasal sample or throat sample for each of these tests? How deep was the swab inserted?

1. For 48 hours prior to departure sample: Both nasal and throat 2. For 6 hours prior to departure sample: Only Nasal 3. After Landing at Dubai Airport: Only Nasal The swab insertion can be felt and it was quite uneasy. But it was just for around 3-4 seconds, so don't worry.

We are planning to go for a vacation to Dubai in March. 1 member is vaccinated with covaxin and 1 with covishield. Q1. Is covaxin allowed Q2. Also please let us know if we need to quarantine in hotel till the report is received for test at Dubai airport. Q3. 1. At present, there is no such requirement of vaccine. Only several RT-PCR reports are required - One within 48 hours of departure, one within 6 hours of departure done at the airport itself and one after landing at Dubai airport. However, there may be restrictions in going to Abu Dhabi or Sharjah etc, so check that if you have plans. 2. After taking the test at the airport, you are allowed to leave the airport and go to your hotel or apartment. A sticker with QR code is pasted in your passport and you can get your results after scanning the code. 3. The test report is usually available within 4-5 hours. Just scan the QR code provided in your passport after 4-5 hours.

Both travel insurance and covid insurance can be obtained in a single insurance. Price is around Rs 1000 to Rs 1500 for a 15 days trip.
