I'd say it's likely that astral projection is possible but there's dangers. Just like with everything. Be safe and you should be fine. All this demon fear mongering is tiresome though. I mean out of everything to fear from Christian world view, isn't god the scariest? He's the one damning people to hell and promising to destroy anyone that doesn't agree with him.

Is this possible to do by accident? I have a lot of experience with meditation as a way to help with insomnia, but sometimes I don't feel like I was asleep and dreaming. I go places and learn things, and I actively think things to myself. When come to afterwards it doesn't feel like waking up, it more like coming back with the thought, "oh, it was that place again".

The Witch's cookery; I think that's a very important topic. I personally define real differently than 'objectively existing'. After all, voodoo curses can kill (nocebo effect) and faith healing can heal (placebo effect) regrdless of whether gods or devils objectively exist. If you believe something is real, and it can kill you, that sounds bloody well real to me.

@@_Slaze they're out there even on yt you can find recipes but theres also a specific recipe that i believe is most traditional and that's tee one that includes poppy n balm of gilead n such in animal fat n there's both physical and metaphysical reasons for the ingredients. if you have never done it before i would buy just an ointment with just 1 of the sacred witches poisons so you can develop a relationship with that plant. i mean there's literally a poison path of witchcraft mysticism so i dont know much much you'll learn from even a few videos or books its experiential you get out of it what you put into it. but if you are just curious about the flying ointments that's fine too. many blessings.

Journying/Astral travel is at the center of my practice and I do it almost every night and incorporate it into my rituals for the full moon and also for the sabbats. One very interesting astral travel session during Samhain, I wanted to connect with ancestors but didn't really feel close to any ancestors I knew that had passed, so I reached out to my unknown ancestors. I got heavy visuals of a young Native American girl who was blind and used the vibrations of the earth to "see" or kind of feel her way to where she needed to go. She came to me and told me that she would guide me on my journey of reconnecting with nature the way my ancestors did and she would help me learn to use the healing power of plants the way my ancestors did. It was a very short conversation but it felt so comforting. I have Native American ancestors on my father's side so I've been learning a lot about their spiritual practices, though I am not putting them into practice since it is a closed practice and I don't feel comfortable appropriating that. Instead, I am taking those ideas that I learn and kind of making my own practice out of them.

I think I did this once without meaning to, and this is the experience that finally caused me to identify as a pagan rather than an atheist. I'm unsure if this matters but I thought to mention it anyway; it happened the night after a concert that was a really meaningful thing to me, almost spiritual in a sense. Maybe that put my brain in the right setting for something like this to happen. This was just over a month and a half after my friend's death, in late September. In the "dream", there was what I presumed was a lake. It was surrounded by a thick mist, the visibility was about 5 meters to each direction. In the front and to the left, I saw some reeds poking out of the water. It was bright, but there was no direct sunlight as the mist was blocking it. The air was cool and humid, like an early summer morning (I'm from a Nordic country, so our summer nights are very light). My friend was sitting in a small wooden rowboat, I was sitting behind him with my arms around his neck and my chin resting on his shoulder. The atmosphere was extremely peaceful, such serenity I'd never experienced before. We were both very much at peace. Now I want to clarify that it was not a lucid dream because at no point did I realise it was a dream. I simply wasn't questioning anything, just like I am not questioning that I am sitting here right now writing this comment. I simply was, and I was completely conscious; my thought process was exactly as I know it to be. My dreams are always vague, disconnected, and illogical. This one was completely clear and linear. Eventually, I spoke: "Soo... What's it like to... you know, be dead?" Before saying anything, I'd gone through in my mind what I was going to say, just like I always do. I could feel the words coming out of my mouth, and I simply KNOW that I spoke them. It's very difficult to estimate the time, the whole situation felt sort of timeless, but perhaps a second later, my alarm went off. It was the weekend but I'd just set myself an alarm for whatever reason. It didn't feel like waking up. It simply felt like one moment I'd been in one place, and the next moment I was in another. I sat up in my bed, feeling very confused. Soon after, I burst into tears. I was unable to even talk about this experience for months as I would always begin to cry.

Nica I had an experience that ended abruptly too. It was night time and quiet so I thought I'd meditate and as I don't sit in any pose I just lay down on the couch relax, close my eyes and clear my mind as works for me. This particular time as I closed my eyes I saw like a small rectangle TV shape brightly lit and thought that's odd when it suddenly became everything around me ..now I'm in a dark room or was as I'm now stood in front of a well kept hedge about 8 or 9 feet tall. I walk by this hedge until I come across a clearing and stand look around. There are many rows of hedges all trim about 6 feet or so apart and they continue on after the clearing. Next thing I see is a horned woman/goddess walking from opposite side of me towards my way but she's like in a trance oblivious to me until she's gone slightly past me than stops, turns her horned head towards me and telepathically and clearly says ...what are you doing here...than similar to your alarm I heard a loud noise coming from my kitchen so I open my eyes go check kitchen to find no explanation for any noise and try closing my eyes again to connect to this realm but to no avail. Still yearn to go back to it. Reminded me of beautiful mansion garden. I since looked up horned goddesses but there are few and none with horns that are horizontal like hers was. I have done this one “shamanic spirit journey to the Akashic realm” meditation a handful of times now. It has those intense drums you mention here in the video. Every single time I listen to it, I seriously black out immediately even though I try so hard to stay lucid. Then I wake up super alert and awake, unlike I usually do with meditations. It’s so odd and it always leaves me feeling so confused as to where that 30 minutes went and how it passed so ridiculously fast.

I'm starting to research Seidr and Volva and decided to try some trance work. I can do guided meditations any time, but this was different. I spent 20 minutes listening to an excellent drum and chanting mix that was here on KZbin and I was asking generally for an answer if I was on the right path. Runes started to flash in front of my eyes. I've always been a symbol reader and I'm just now getting into Runes after telling myself I'm not Norse or German (Family tree has said otherwise though lol). I wrote down the runes and went looking through the meanings until I found them spelling out 'You found the path, go down it, it's going to be a challenge, but it's your path'.

I had a weird experience. I have never talked about it cause I don't know if im crazy, or making things up, idk. I have found myself following a musical artist who was heavy in spiritual things and was extremely smart not in mathematics or schooling but spiritually, he new everything. He had a rough past but always experienced change. Sadly he died from being robbed and shot. But I was going through a rough time few months maybe even a year after he passed and I needed answers or something to help. and like I just kind of opened my mind to the fact that it's possible to speak to people in the afterlife. Later I fell asleep and I Had like a dream, but after it happened I felt like I was awake the whole time. Anyway It was in my room (which is small) it was kind of dark and foggy. I felt a presence. A figure. Like someone was in front of me. It sounded like the artists voice. He told me that I need to sit and observe and listen and not to be the one talking all the time. Then everything disappeared and I was awake. I then wrote it in a journal, but then I don't remember writing it. But the weird thing is I remember the feeling, and experience clearly but not the "dream". It's been about a year since it happened.

my first journey was a few weeks ago actually, I just felt a strong presence and calling from the spiritual world so in my room i just played 90's grunge music (this was for my deceased uncle so i recommend playing music or making music or such in accordance with who or what you are trying to engage with) and had the lights completely off and was just started moving with the music. just let the music guide your movements. its not like you know doing some crazy stuff just whatever is fitting to what you are engaging with. i don't know what moon phase it was, heck i wasn't burning anything i was just dancing and listening to the smashing pumpkins with my eyes pretty much closed the entire hour. i could feel other spirits in the room, as well as my uncle's presence. I did have some items out that were in relation to my uncle though. this is just my experience ahaaaa .v.

So you use flying witchcraft ointment? how it is the experienced? in my practice i like paganism but i enter into higher states of mind by using buddhist meditation technics i have connected with buddha, goddess of compassion Kuan yin,Nang kwak and some wrathful deities in buddhism so i think the spirit realm its something real........but then i used buddhist meditation technic and listen to some viking heathen chants and connected with Odin,Freyja,Skadi and Thor also. So im in terms of paganism im like a ecclectic wizard maybe as i mix buddhism and viking gods very weird ehh but its my thing, as i prefer to be in other good places than my country its a great escaped from hel at least in meditation.

I can somewhat envision things with my eyes open but it's impossible with my eyes closed (weird right lol) but it's what I'd consider pretty basic imagery. It's disappointing to the say the least! I only just realized I even had an issue within the last year when seriously attempting visual meditation once and I got so frustrated I looked it up. Never occurred to me it wasn't "normal" lol.

These things are not inherently evil. Seeing things is not evil. what is evil, is harming others, or judging them, being rude and unkind, damaging people and the earth. There are many many different religious and spiritual beliefs on this planet, and we need to respect one another. If your religion doesn't allow this, its okay, but other people disagree. So long as no one is being harmed, no problem.

They can appear to be good and has good intentions but they are just deceiving us to make us believe in their powers instead of believing in God. I'm sorry Scarlet, what you expound is a load of bunkum. I do not mean to be rude; I just find such things have no foundation or proof. Show some proof and I'll believe you. However, it's known that hallucinations can be construed as such. I worked on a psychiatric ward during my training and met several people who had very vivid hallucinations, most drug related. I personally had a frightening hallucination when I was about 8 years old where I saw London burning during the blitz after watching a movie that included clips of firemen fighting the fire storm. I even felt the heat from the fires, but it turned out I was burning up with a temperature of 104 degrees and was delirious. I was rushed to hospital and was initially though to have meningitis thankfully it was something else.

Please be careful. I'm not saying it's all bad and dangerous but it's critical to practice self-observation. Watch your thoughts, emotions, and dreams when dipping your toes in these waters. Riptides abound. Also... pay attention to the people that you magnetize. Quite often they are proxies for the energy that you're attracting.

Admit/ accept. Your a sinner. Have you Ever realized you were lost, and Separated from God and going to hell.. because of your sin? Rom 3:10, [3:23 "for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" ] Rom 6:23 for the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. B. Believe. That you owe a penalty, but Jesus paid it for you: Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and rose again the third day, according to the scriptures. (Jesus Christ has the keys to death and hell. And heaven). 1 cor 15:3,4 Rom 5:8. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Though we are sinners, God proved his love to us. Sacrificing his only begotten son in our place for our sin. He was our substitute. Our sin was put on him and he shed his precious blood to make atonement for us. he paid our sin debt. C. Call on/ confess. You must accept by faith what Jesus Christ did for you, putting your full trust in his finished work on the cross and not your good works. Not your baptism, not your church membership or anything else. Want to go to heaven? Trust Jesus Christ. Want to go to hell? Do nothing or trust something else. Upon putting your trust in Jesus Christ his righteousness is applied to your account. The Bible says our righteousness is as filthy rags. We need the righteousness of God to get into heaven. Romans 10:13 for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Has there been a time in your life you can point your finger too, where you have asked Jesus Christ to forgive you and save you? (Trusting in his shed blood / finished work on the cross alone for your salvation, not your own works, not your baptism, not your church membership, but in him alone.. in the fact that he is God incarnate and that he paid for your sin on the cross) Nobody is saved just because they believe that Jesus Christ existed with head knowledge. James 2:19 says thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devil's also believe and tremble. Even the devil believes in God. Head knowledge is a start, but according to the Bible in Romans 10:9,10,13.. we must believe in our heart and receive him by calling on him to save us. What good is a gift unless you reach out and take it? You may be able to see that it's there, but unless you receive it.. it's not yours. You have to acknowledge that you need it and take it. If you have been saved, you will be able to point to an instance in your life where you have asked Jesus Christ to forgive you, and save you, and you have been born again. A time where the Holy Spirit has put you under conviction that you are a lost sinner and needed a Saviour. And at that time put your full trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
