I can agree: the lollipops! We flew to Disney when my sister was about 1 and after crying and crying and crying, my grandma gave her a lollipop and she was calm the rest of the flight. 😅 I don’t know what it is either, but it really does work!

Lollipops help toddlers with their ear pressure. As they can’t pop their ears on their own, sucking on a lollipop helps release the pressure.

These are great tips! I always make sure to take lollipops, they help with the ear pressure when taking off! Just make sure you don’t give it to them while taxing because sometimes it takes awhile

We took 5 international trips with my 2,5yo and what helps with a pressure it’s tylenol like 10-15 min before take off (it was our pediatrician advice) works so great.

@@novarafrazier-kua3482 sorry if my comment was confusing. I always make sure to give my kids a lollipop when the plane is about to ascend into the air as it helps with the ear pressure. I have made the mistake of giving it to them as soon as the plane starts to move and we usually have to sit and wait for other planes to leave so they finish the lollipop before we’re in the air lol.

She definitely cried because of her ears…. When I was little I used to go through that and it’s horrible . So gum or anything in the mouth helps clear the ear canal

Thank your for the tips! First time I traveled via airplane my daughter was 1 years old. She’s 2 1/2 now and we went on a road trip and it was so much easier!! We will be flying out next week and will test the backpack idea and definitely take some lollipops 🍭 😆
