All of these suggestions are torture for the ADHD mind. Limiting choices? Living by the same routine every day? Bland uninteresting food? This person very obviously does not have ADHD or any personal experience with it. If she does have a child with ADHD, I feel bad for them, because they've been taught to mask and pretend at neurotypicality. They probably will have anxiety and depression and an inferiority complex as an adult. Do not do follow the majority of these recommendations. You'll set your child up for mediocrity and unhappiness. There are studies showing that the idea that sugar causes hyperactivity in children is a complete MYTH and a prime example of the placebo effect. Your children hear you and others say it. Urban legend, completely specious. Just like the idea that coffee dehydrates you. Completely false, based on a study from the 40's or 50's that nobody bothered debunking until a couple years ago because it's so patently false to those with some knowledge of diuretics and think about it for half a second. (Coffee is actually about 80% as hydrating as water). Dr. Kapoor's ideas about using only positive reinforcement and encouraging the child's interests are on the right track. Do not use punishment with these children; it won't work and will cause the child to hate you and herself.

Kindly share your experience if so, problems differs from child to child and even treatment

@@Syeda-angels I believe I just did. Ask me something specific. Yes, individuals do differ, but again, in the majority of cases, these interventions have been shown to have a high risk of significant negative effects when measured against evidence-based, modern interventions. i.e. *Do Not* do these things, or you will most probably hurt your child.
