Leon Tomasso thanks. I usually add a few drops in and mix it up and add more if needed untill there sedated giving 5 or 10 mins in between adding more. Obviously the bigger the fish the more they need etc

How long can the koi be out of water safely?

Depends on the individual koi but 10 minutes is the most id keep one out. So long as you keep the gills wet etc

Seems like the fish would have some brain damage after not having the gills irrigated for the duration of the treatment

@@stephendraycott I mean it covers the gill plate which doesn't seem to be enough for oxygen uptake, I have never treated a sedated fish though so I'm mainly just curious

It works very well this way mate. Not had a fatalitie in the 6 years ive treated koi.
