I come down with a severe case of tennis elbow in my left arm last October after a lot of heavy hammering on a metal project. It degenerated to the point in April where it was acute at all times, interfered with my sleep and high doses of ibuprofen weren't helping. I already had a pre-existing issue due to a botched subacromic decompression left shoulder surgery which left me with anterior instability. I was warned by my non quack follow-up orthopedic surgeon in 1996 that I would be susceptible to elbow and forearm strain because of the instability. I was pretty much problem free until last October. I tried many of the other KZbin treatments but they were focused on stretch and hold exercises and didn't offer much improvement. After about two weeks of following your exercise suggestions my pain subsided and I was able to stop taking the ibuprofen. I was really in agony until I followed your recommendations and am really glad you provided this information to the public and highly recommend it to others.

Wow did it work? And can you do weights again without pain? Please 🙏
@sakisalfista6202 жыл бұрын
@@cryptofinders6377 of course I can lift weights! Just like before! I have noticed though that sometimes by doing pull-ups or lateral shoulder raises with my wrist straight and not loose I might feel a little discomfort-not pain- which is a sign that if I continue to do these in a long term I might get a relapse. But I decide to do them anyway and maybe 2-3 times a week also do the exercises to keep my elbow muscles strong and I have been going pain-free since then. But if you have pain and you just began with these 3 exercises you should do them everyday for at least 2 months regardless if your pain is gone. So that you can 100% heal your elbow and then see if the source of your elbow discomfort is created by a certain exercise and chance it "which I find a better solution", or keep doing the strengthening exercises as a routine every second-third day. Don't worry, it will go away soon. Cheers!

Can definitely say this has helped a lot. Been noticing some strain in my elbow during bench press, overhead press, and curls, to the point where I’ve been having to go for less weight. Thank you! This is the best and most intelligent advice I've seen on the subject after talking to doctors, physical therapists, and watching too many KZbin videos to count. They all seemed to focus too much on stretching and range of motion. You explained why that didn't work for me. 5 years ago I tore medial epicondal (sp?) in right elbow while weight training. Injections, Physical therapy, still have pain. Last year tore same in left elbow. Same result. Last month tore lateral epicondal in right elbow. Had injection a couple of weeks ago. Watching your video today I am convinced this is how I will finally fix my issues. Thank you, thank you, thank you! 😊👍 I'm subscribed to your channel and going to check out your website now

I’ve had tennis elbow symptoms for months now that seemed to start when I started golfing last year (lateral elbow pain on lead arm in swing). I notice the most amount of pain when I straighten my arm and go into the extended flare hand/finger position. I can however grip hard with no symptoms. That being said exercise 1 recreates symptoms at the lateral tendon. Is this a good thing? Are extended flare symptoms different from gripping for tennis elbow? Another position I also sometimes feel symptoms is full flexion and supination of the arm as in the fully contracted position of a barbell curl Any help would be greatly appreciated! Love the channel

I do like this exercise, however, I had a ulna osteotomy and ligament repairs on the top of my hand near the wrist, the exercise on the floor its not really possible for me to do. Can you recommend another type of exercise to strengthening the wrist. Many thanks in advance

good video. I got tennis elbow in my right arm from work. I make cars at toyota, and unfortunately I have had it get worse cuz the occupational therapist has put me on processes that make me need to grab 5lb pieces of equipment with one hand and twist the arm 180 degress from palm up to palm forward while also rotating my arm 180 to have my back of my hand face me. This has been very painful, almost thought I tore the tendon one night cuz of this process doing it for 4hrs. My dr had me do a ultra sound and it only showed up with tendinitis, no tear thank God! But the WSIB is involvd and they haven't forced Toyota get to take m off that process. Meanwhile I had the tendinitis in the left elbow and had surgery on it back in Feb. Don't ever work for an auto maker, repetitive work is brutal on the body! And getting WSIB to help you with paying for physio is brutally time consuming and hard.

Thank you for sharing, I tend to have tennis elbow pain at times but have some type of calcification in that area or a knot “ what would you recommend to alleviate some of that pain so that I can get back to curling?
