Short scissors are great for beginners! I only use long ones bc I have been doing it for so many years. 4-6” shears will work. I use 8”. Go slow and lots of treats🐾

I would recommend people use scissors with rounded tips. Even better, I use a trimmer (not clippers), to make sure that I don’t hurt my little girl. A trimmer won’t cut them, or your fingers like a clipper or scissors can.
