you're a life saver!! I love short hair on me.. As a college student it gets expensive at times. What products do you reccomend that I use at home such as, relaxer, shampoo, or product line? I've been using Designs Essentials at the salon. When I don't have the funds I'll use a box relaxer, I know shouldn't but, just needs some pointers. Hi there Alexis. I keep my edges maintained by keeping it wrapped and also using edge control. I am in between edge controllers to see which one is the best thus far. (will be doing a video soon) But those are definitely the top 2 keys to maintaining my edges and back. Also, I let my hair air dry. I do not use a hooded dryer, but if you do have one it's definitely suggested to use every now and then. If you do use a hooded dryer please make sure to use a heat protectant. Wow!....I cut my own hair, due to too many people wacked away my beautiful long hair. It's so verrrry difficult to find a stylist, whom is gifted and can produce a cut that is in their on, doggone salon! I cut it myself anymore. It's naturally curly, people don't understand how to do that either. My hair cuts best dry. Because of my hair type, wetting it, shrinks the actual length, 4 to 6x's shorter.

Thanks for watching...glad you liked it. I use a few things...make sure you use a shampoo and conditioner that does well on your hair (i recommend organic root simulator) ... leave in conditioner, coconut oil and olive oil, moisturizer and hair foam with olive oil in it

argan oil, and African pride moisturizer is great, and use a heat protectant, recommend garnier, it will keep you right, I use this, trust me it works

TheFairy GodDiva I followed your steps this morning before I washed my hair. After I got out the shower I parted my hair on the left side and molded it with Nairobi wrap foam. I let it air dry then Thank you so much for this video. I maintain my hair at home, because I don't trust people in my hair. Also, the prices today are astronomical. I do, however, go to a barber to have my back shadow faded.
