I agree, but I saw a picture of him without the beard and without it, he looks so different and dare I say strange, his beard is like a super power. With it he looks like a male model, without it he looks kind of weird. It's a shocking difference.

No! Don't go shorter! You have such a damn fine look and that beard just really works with it. You kind of look like a medieval king, the kind that's not afraid to pull out his sword and get into the fray with his men. My wife always hints on how she likes my beard shorter and pointy but I finally got it big and full so I gotta keep it this way for a while. Plus, I never tell her to dye her hair red so it seems like a fair trade :)

G C you know, that it's only hair, and that'll grow back. I look back at older pictures and do like when it was more of a 3-month beard.. by the way, your 6-month beard looks great especially with the shaved head.

Greg Berzinsky I used to think my hair would grow back, then it stopped. Now I wish I didn't cut that ponytail off. Of course it probably just would have fallen out like the rest of it did :) And thanks, I really liked my beard at the 10 month mark. That seemed to be when it was at its strongest and fullest, before the sides started to outgrow the chin and a fork started to form.

Nico Rob I use Beardbrand beard wash and conditioner every other day or every third day. Some days I just rinse my beard.

And what about this technique at 8:58, if someone has a wavy-curly beard - will it work or ruin the beard? Trimming straight hair is so easy, wish I had it straight.

Yeah, it can still work with a curly beard. Just keep in mind not to pull it too much, so you can still monitor and make an educated guess about how long it'll be after you make the cut. -Josh

I envy so much people with straight hair and beards. My beard is dry and tends to be curly, it's really hard to shape. Do you know any tutorial on how to cut it?
