How to - Triumph Stag mk2 engine removal - start of restoration/recommission part 1

The first video of how to remove a Triumph Stag engine easily and safely. I appreciate it is easier with garage facilities, but i do hope it helps if you are planning on doing the task yourself.

Thanks , yes please carry on with engine rebuild what you find and cure , and the build back into the car , just rebuilt mine auto and did it piece meal , engine in ,then convertor ,bell housing , then line up pump tangs then the auto box , just that's the way we used to do it in garages in the seventies, great vehicle the stag , ticks so many boxes !

Oh thanks, that's great to hear. I've got a couple more videos to edit which cover splitting the engine and gearbox and stripping the engine, few surprises in there lol. Those bell housing bolts at the top are a nightmare to do in the car, easy if the heads are off but hard to get to with the engine built up

Great info, really practical video....but please set the music levels to same as your voice, had to keep one hand one the volume!
