Hi Dana, I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge! I was wondering when it comes to phalaenopsis orchids, do you ever feel like they require support wiring before you insert them into the water vials?

Hello Lila, glad you find it helpful! I don't - and wouldn't recommend wiring phaels before putting them in water tubes, unless the stem is broken or bent but still able to take up water. If you're finding the thin stems of phaels are too small for the #57 tubes, try going down a size to #56. The caps on the #56 tubes have an ever so slightly smaller hole and may hold the bloom in place better. Phaels also don't drink that much water and will be totally fine with this size tube. Hope this helps!
