I saw this about a year ago and watched again today because I brought my Honey Badger SD home today… finally! Thank you for the informative video, I’ll be tuning my HBSD accordingly tomorrow. I always enjoy your content brother.

Thank you for this video. I just picked up a 300 Sugar Weasel pistol. Went to shoot it for the first time (no suppressor, yet). It did not cycle, had to rack it after each shot. It did that with supers and subs. I'm hoping that opening the gas block fixes it. I had no idea how to do it until your video, thanks.

Exactly what I needed. Just built my 300 mock Sugar Weasel since I can't get my hands on the whole rifle. But at least I got the barrel and handguard! But realized I didn't know how to work the gas block. Duh. Proud to have you as one our members at the club. Your content is always amazing. Maybe I'll run into you one of these days.

Great video. I read the instructions in the box of my Honey Badger 3 times and was still confused. This made is super clear. Once my Thunder Chicken gets out of ATF jail I will definitely follow this procedure as I plan on shooing mostly subsonic once I can put my hands on it. I can understand why you don't want to over gas the gun, but I do wish you had talked a little about the symptoms of too much gas so people would know when to turn the Allen screw the other way.

I really like your videos especially the music. I have a HoneyBadgerSD and I run an Aimpoint on it because the gun is so light I don’t want to really put an Eotech that almost adds a full pound to it. However my eyes are getting worse my astigmatism is starting to make all of my Aimpoints look like red christmas trees lol. Does anyone know if Eotechs are easier to shoot if you have an astigmatism? I know it’s a weird question I appreciate any advice. Thanks guys, great informative video as always Ivan.

Great video! I am curious about the honey badger SD rail. Looks like you can't put a light or anything in the mlok slots by the suppressor, is the extended rail actually useful?
@chatnasty3 жыл бұрын
It has minimal utility from what I can tell. Best I can come up with is that it offers and extended sight radius with irons and it looks cool.
@coachtx3 жыл бұрын
You are correct, the set up will minimize M=Lock usage. The point of the extended rail is simply because the can gets so hot during use. I've also suspect its friendlier for people who are used to 16" barrels
@ryanpeck33773 жыл бұрын
Its mainly so you can reach further out and not have to be all scrunched up on a tiny piece of rail. Also gives you spot to rest it on a barrier without a ton of suppressor hanging out over it or having to rest in the suppressor.
@mr.b31322 жыл бұрын
It's a big knock on the SD..most of the rail you can't use

Do you ever have trouble with the rifle being over-gassed for supers even though it's tuned well for subs? My supers get launched when I shoot them (tuned for subs)
@illestdomer200510 ай бұрын
Yep, that will be a forever problem. These Allen key AGBs are an improvement but not as good as a Riflespeed, for example.
@FarmerJimbob16 күн бұрын
Is it smart to tune to subs and then shoot 110 vmax? I've heard it can spin the bullets apart with over rotation in a 1:5 7 inch barrel like the sugar weasel or honey badger

What rail wrap and foregrip is that? I currently have a burn proof gear rail wrap. But I am not impressed with its performance because it is held on by elastic bands, which stretch overtime.
