Because this tablet is somewhat universal and works for a bunch of different cars, there are no tunes pre-loaded on it. But the purchase of the tablet includes a license to download tunes from their website.

Do you have to deal with emissions where you live? I wouldn't mind a little extra power, but I can't really get a catless header since we have emissions tests every other year. And catted headers are so much more expensive as well. When I bought my BRZ, the previous owner said it was already tuned but the header is still stock so I assume I'd need to get both and retune it.

you should run premium (91 or 93 if youre in the US depending on your area) due to the compression ratio of the car’s engine regardless. but to answer your question, you dont need to but it’s highly HIGHLY recommended
