I love that this one doesn't look like it would curl. I love Tunisian, but it always curls making it hard to want to keep going.

I absolutely LOVE Tunisian Crochet and this is a lovely stitch. I love your videos, they are very clear and easy to follow, I will definitely be trying this stitch, probably for a blanket as I recently bought some extendable Tunisian crochet hooks with cables. I already made one blanket and the extended hook/cable was easy to use. Thank you again for another wonderful video! 👍❤

Thank youuuuuuu Donna! I love tiis stitch! Someone once asked me to make a beach cover up for her and she did not want it lacy. I can see the coverup in this stich! This is beautiful! I am new to tunisian crochet and enjoying the journy! Your instructions are priceless. Thank you so much!

Happy to help! And absolutely, it's a nice light drapey stitch, like you said it's not lacy, perfect for clothing, especially done in a lighter weight yarn.

What a simple yet gorgeous pattern! I imagine this would look especially great in a big piece like for a blanket (although it would be a ton of loops on the hook)

Hi there. You can buy extendable Tunisian crochet hooks that extend with a cable to accommodate a large number of stitches. May I suggest you buy one to try, as I did, and if you like it, treat yourself to a set. I made a blanket with Tunisian Simple Stitch on a hook and cable and found it easy to use. Give it a try - happy crocheting! 😁

Hi Donna! I love this and am looking forward to trying this stitch in possibly making a vest. I’m no designer but 3 long rectangles should be easy enough for this beautiful stitch. Thank you and congratulations on your 1M subscribers.🦋

I have another Tunisian crochet video, called the Tunisian Crochet No Curl Full Stitch Pattern that has several tips that can help overcome that curling. Links are just not working in comments anymore for me, so you'll have to use the KZbin search bar.

I thought Tunisian crochet was really difficult!! Your tutorial is great & has inspired me to try this pattern!!! 😁 This pattern looks pretty simple for starting to learn Tunisian. Can this be done with 3 chains instead of 4?
@naztazia2 жыл бұрын
Yes! I've done this with 3 chains instead of 4 and the stitches are of course a little less taller but it still looks neat.

How do you do a full width blanket this way?? That hook doesn't look long enough to hold all the loops of a large blanket. 🤷🏼♀️🤔
@tastymoves2 жыл бұрын
There's tunesian needles that come with a cable much like knitting needles. Of course there's also a limit as to how large your piece can be but as you'll be able to work something larger than shawl-width.
@christinalynn42542 жыл бұрын
I would think you may have to do it in blocks and connect them. I've not attempted anything that large with tunisian. It's beautiful though!
@ljwstarrs76032 жыл бұрын
It is very hard right now ro not buy it and make it, cuz i wont finish it •-•
@aztigerval19792 жыл бұрын
There are tunisian interchangable hooks with different lengths of cables and they are long enough to do a blanket. Some have connectors so you can connect different cables and make them as long as you need.
@naztazia2 жыл бұрын
They make "extended" Tunisian crochet hooks, which looks like a normal crochet hook with a very long fishing-wire flexible thin tube at the other end. These hooks can hold hundreds of loops.

Can hdc be added as part of a pattern with the chain stitches?
@naztazia Жыл бұрын
I would think you can add any crochet stitch in between the rows of chain stitches.
@conniemccauley489 Жыл бұрын
Thank you... could I add hdc on the same row as chain stitches?
