So, I was wondering what the point of this little feature is, and after a little digging, I found out that it's so you can share large files to multiple people, temporarily. Up to 4 gigs, link share is up to 5, or the other way around. Regardless, it uploads temporarily to a ☁️ cloud and then deletes after a few days. It could be useful for sending videos or photographs!

Thank you so much! After a weekend of my phone not receiving calls due to an app error, this was the cherry on top. I didn't know how it got there but I was able to turn it off with your help. Thank you so much!! 😁 P.S. I took my phone in to verizon and the guy fixed the incoming calls issue within minutes. Thank goodness he used to have the same phone as me and knew what was wrong haha.

Thank you. For some reason, link sharing was occurring with only ONE of my contacts, but I had no idea why. I kept checking the settings in my details for their contact information. Following your video, I untoggled the link sharing icon and Voila! I just don't know why it was on for that one person, only. It was probably an accidental toggle in the past that continued to default.

I think I did the same thing...accidentally hit that cloud button on my ONE friend's text convo. I even tried to blame her phone, thinking it must be something on her end...LOL. What a simple fix!! Yay!!

I must have turned it on by accident, it was driving me nuts trying to update family on an adventure park trip with my grandaughter, and they were not getting pics they could see. It might be a cool feature, if we were trying to use it on purpose for some reason and were set up and had the app and knowledge.
