Really disappointing this isn’t an option. I get Giants putting it in. Esp after popular mods slowed growth down. But even those mods were used by fewer than 50% of regular players. So why make it compulsory for the majority who preferred not to play that way? Hopefully the mod this year will be one to turn the growth back to 19 style.

This feature alone will scare away a lot of casual players, who just want to do their harvests and make a bit of money every day. I think turning the game into a glorified sleeping simulator in order to make that work, that´s definitely not my idea of having fun.

Exactly. I thought they specifically put in so many options so that both casual players and players who enjoy the more realistic gameplay can both enjoy the game the way they want to. I just started and while I like the new production possibilities, I have almost nothing to do each day because I cannot speed up the growth time of my grain. I guess I could set each month to only last a day but that's not really what I want.

I'm keeping it - But I am playing '19 instead more or less due to the way they have changed seasons. If they fix '22 I'll switch to that. If they stay with this new seasons in the future with no option to have it as it was before then I've bought my last Farming Simulator game. '19 will do me for the long haul.

Almost seems like fs22 is geared more heavily to the seasons/realistic player base. It looked at least like the actual crop growth still followed the seasonal plan no matter what and as BroHam mentioned it will always say a month at the top.

You sir are absolutely right. Only thing i get for tuning off seasons is that i can plant whenwver i will. Growth still takes month, and if you did not set month length to 1 day then have fun sleeping

Felt I needed to go back to 19 until they offer the option. Pressing "sleep" 6 or 7 times in a row is a real immersion breaker. I play survival and start with nothing. So with my limited resources I've done everything I can with the equipment and land I have in day 1 - day 2 at the latest. Then I need to do a "Rip Van Winkle" and sleep for six months. That's a deal breaker for me. Loving it back in '19. I get some people want massive farms and then this seasons really comes into its own. But the way I enjoy the game it breaks immersion to the point I just don't want to play it.

I play the game casually and mostly only do crops and don't care too much about production and I hate how long it takes for crops to grow. Makes the game boring for me sitting around waiting forever. I hope they put a crop growth time setting like 19. Cause it's just not fun for me right now

The only thing you can speed up is the hours/minutes. Like the last game the fastest is 120x. You can't speed up the days it takes to grow, like 3 days to 1 day, only how fast the day goes by

You can't paint growable grass in fs22. You have to plow a field and seed grass for it to work.

Can you tell me how l can store patatoes in fs22 as the silos wont take them and if i go to buy a new silo the information state that it holds all your crops, l think FS22 need to give a few more details in the decriptions for what silos hold as in types of granin,veg,grapes,straw,grass and so forth... any help would be great...

I think its only bug because ps4 version take 2 year until grain grow And ps5 version over 8 month grain growth no idea because you not get money and You can't do Production if that no bug Thats not good at all 😐

Personally, i see it make the game more enjoyable to play ,instead of planting a single crop because they grow in a single day...every crop has it own growth time and that would make it more strategic, longer one should be more profitable and with short one you get a lot of quantities

that's fine for someone who is playing it to that level, but for casuals like me, I prefer not to spend most of my time skipping days. why would they not at least make it to where we could have the old settings of fs19? makes no sense. what's the point of turning off seasons if all it does is turn off the growth calendar. in won't be spending anymore money on FS. I turned the seasons off, spring summer fall and winter still exist (and are pretty), the only thing it changed is that I can plant whatever I want, whenever I want. There is another setting to make it always a certain season or month, so if you really like how fall time looks, you can make it fall 24-7.

I was waiting for some more Mods before getting FS22. I was never a fan of seasons on FS19, so having it enforced on to you is a big turn-off, especially as you can't actually turn it off. Also, I like to play in real time, so having to wait a week for a crop to grow is pretty horrendous. Right now I think it's a total miss for me, and I'm glad I was waiting for those mods, as I have not wasted my cash on the game.

Make sure you’re growth is set to seasonal off, or no seasonal growth. But there’s also an option that says paused. Make sure it does not say paused. That sounds like what’s going on with yours
