Bass Man Hi, Midi Controller is an app by Volcano Mobile that is free and has 6 pads (I'm planning a video tutorial for it soon). I'm personally working on releasing an android app that will have 16 pads (as well as lots of other cool stuff) but I haven't yet got to alpha testing, so not ready to be released yet.

Explo ☄ You may need to activate Developer mode on your Android phone to get the midi option, although it may not be available on some older versions of Android

@MrNeobach Hi, to keep the video simple I used a very basic midi keyboard app that doesn't have any changeable settings. Other apps, like zenbeats, will give you control over the midi keyboard layout.

@akashkk2609 Have you activated developer mode on your phone? You probably have to unlock developer mode first. To activate developer mode, tap on the settings app, tap on About Phone, then tap on the Build Number seven times.

@amanyos6147 If your phone is on android version 6 or higher, you will need to activate developer mode on your phone... Tap on the Android settings app, tap on About Phone, tap on Software Information, then tap on Build Number seven times. The midi option should now appear as one of the connection options when you connect your phone to a computer.
